CHE – US, Brazil Agree To Strengthen Education Exchanges


The Chronicle of Higher Education (3/21) reports, “As part of President Obama’s trip to Brazil this week, the two countries have agreed to strengthen education exchanges, particularly between universities and other research institutions in the science, technology, engineering, and mathematics fields, according to a news release issued today by the US State Department. Among other exchanges, the release describes collaborative efforts between Brazil’s Federal Agency for the Support and Evaluation of Graduate Education and the US Fulbright program, the National Science Foundation, and the US Education Department’s Fund for the Improvement of Postsecondary Education.”
