National Instruments Corp Donates $10 Million to University of Texas

From the ASEE Newsletter –  Another ‘Learning Factory” in the works. The AP Share to FacebookShare to Twitter (1/5) reported that, James Truchard, the “co-founder, president and CEO of National Instruments Corp. has contributed $10 million to the University of Texas Cockrell School of Engineering to help fund a new teaching lab.” The National Instruments Student Project Center will include 23,000 square feet in which students can design and build robots, biomedical sensors, satellites and other devices.
